‘Gutless, cowards’: Two congressmen involved in heated shouting match over gun control
Two congressmen were involved in a heated shouting match over gun laws following Monday’s school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee.
Democrat Jamaal Bowman stood outside the House floor to demand answers about why guns are available to children when he was interrupted by Republican Thomas Massie.
Mr Bowman, a former middle school principal, labelled Republican lawmakers unwilling to pass firearm restrictions as “freaking cowards”.
He became further enraged when Mr Massie suggested there’s “never been a school shooting in a school that allows teachers to carry”.
