Moment police take down Hainault sword attack suspect captured on home CCTV
The moment police tasered the sword-wielding Hainault suspect on Tuesday, 30 April, was caught on doorbell camera footage.
A 14-year-old boy died and four other people were injured in the attack in east London.
Authorities confirmed two of those injured were Metropolitan Police officers.
A 36-year-old man was tasered and arrested at the scene but has not yet been interviewed because of injuries, the Met said.
The incident is not believed to be a targeted attack, nor terror-related, police added.
King Charles III has offered his sympathies to “all those affected” by the “horrific” stabbings, “In particular, the family of the young victim who has lost his life,” Buckingham Palace said.
