Migrants attempt to cross US-Mexico border moment Title 42 expires

New footage shows the moment migrants scrambled to cross the US-Mexico border after the country’s Title 42 policy ended.

Some migrants were even spotted in rivers during hours of darkness making their attempt.

The legislation took effect at the start of the Covid pandemic, blocking those fleeing crises from claiming asylum in the United States.

Hundreds waited in El Paso, Texas, to be picked up and transported by immigration authorities to shelters.

“It’s going to be chaotic for a while,” Joe Biden admitted earlier in the week.
