White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is set to hold a live media briefing just a few hours before President Biden and his wife host a reception to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.

It has just been announced that First Lady Jill Biden will travel to Romania and Slovakia later this week, to meet with U.S. service members, U.S. embassy personnel, displaced Ukrainian families, and humanitarian aid workers.

During Friday’s briefing (29 April), Psaki covered COVID-19 border restrictions and the latest request for military, economic and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
